Commercial use and support
What you are allowed to do with a code you made here, and how to get hold of us when something is wrong. Short section, but they are the two questions a business asks before committing to a print run.
Business & Commercial Use
Can I use ScanMe Online QR codes commercially?
Yes. Codes you generate are yours to use in business: marketing, menus, packaging, business cards, advertising, events, real-estate signs and anywhere else. Androrangers claims no ownership over the content you encode, and there are no license fees or watermarks. The Terms of Service ask one thing of commercial users: test your codes before relying on them in payments, tickets, inventory or other commercial operations.
Can I create branded QR codes for my company?
Yes. Add your logo (the smart palette suggests brand-matched, contrast-checked colors from it), apply your brand colors as solids or gradients, choose dot and eye styles, and finish with a frame carrying a call to action. Branded codes get noticeably more scans than plain black-and-white ones. Just keep the reliability score high and test-print before a large run.
Can my business track how well QR campaigns perform?
Yes, with dynamic QR codes. Each code reports total and unique scans, a time chart, and country/device/browser breakdowns, enough to compare placements, creatives and campaigns. A common pattern: create one dynamic code per placement (poster vs. flyer vs. packaging), point them all at the same landing page, and read the per-code numbers to see what actually drives scans. You can also add UTM parameters to destinations so your website analytics attribute the visits.
Can I use QR codes to promote app downloads or social media?
Yes. The App Download type links to your app’s store listing, and the Social Media type links to your profiles. Both scan straight from posters, packaging or screens. For a single printed code serving both iPhone and Android users, point a dynamic code at a smart link or landing page that detects the device and forwards to the right store.
Support
How can I contact ScanMe Online?
Use the contact form on the site, which goes straight to the team and asks only for your name, email, subject and message, or email apps.admin@androrangers.com directly. We read every message and reply as soon as we can. Bug reports, feature requests and business inquiries are all welcome through the same channels.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
Through the contact page. For bugs, include your browser and device, what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. A screenshot is worth all of it. For feature requests, describe the problem you are trying to solve rather than only the feature; it helps us build the right thing. Requests genuinely shape the roadmap.
Where are the Terms of Service and other legal documents?
All legal documents are linked in the footer of every page: the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie and Advertising Disclosure. The Privacy Policy covers the Android app in Sections 1 to 19, and Section 20 covers the website features that store anything on our servers — an optional account, dynamic QR codes and their scan statistics, digital business cards, pet IDs, vehicle IDs, and details visitors send you through a card, pet tag or vehicle sticker. The Cookie Disclosure covers cookies, browser storage, analytics and advertising on the website. The footer also has a Cookie Settings button to review or change your consent choices at any time.
